There are many things you can do to help us get people to the show. Use the ideas below to get started. If you think of something else let us know.

Request HUMANWINE on radio stations
The hardest thing for a band and radio is letting djs know they have it. We've been supplying radio stations all over with our cd. By calling in and asking stations to play our muzik you help us in a couple of ways. One, you expose a bunch of people who may not know us to our muzik. Two, you remind the dj that the cd is sitting on the shelf right behind them.

Select a show and click the 'request' option. You will be brought to a page listing the radio stations in the state of the selected show. We list the request line phone number and , if applicable, the IM name as well as a link to their website.

Print flyers for the show and pass them out
There is nothing more helpful in bringing people to a show than the old school bill. Select a show and then click the 'Print Flyer' option and print out the resulting hi-res image. Then bring that print to a photo-copier near you, make as many as you want and start posting around town.
There is some etiquette to follow however. By plastering every square inch of the city you run the risk of pissing people off and thus getting our name lodged in the 'I hate them' side of their brains. Not to mention we're not looking to promote wasting paper.

That said keep these things in mind when printing, copying & posting:
  • Do a test copy on the photo-copier to get the contrast right before setting it to make 500 copies
  • Ask Store owners before hanging in their windows and on their billboards
  • Don't hang 700 flyers in the same area
  • Don't cover other flyers with ours. At least check the date first.

    • Post show details on message boards
    If you want to help us online you can use the same information we use. This way we're not passing out contradicting info. Select a show and click the 'Repost' option. You will be forwarded to a page containing the latest code for reposting. Just copy & paste the code where ever you want be it your website, community forums or chat rooms.

    Invite a friend to a show
    By selecting a show and clicking the 'Invite' option you can send an email with a personalized message along with all the shows details to a friend. Why go alone?

    Give a ride to someone
    Select a show and look through our carpool entries and offer a ride to someone in need. If you find someone in your area who needs a ride to the show, click 'contact' under their post and you'll be able to send them an email.

    We've condensed the functions of our new SHOWZ section into a widget that you can host on your webpage and/or OS X Dashboard. The contents are automatically updated allowing visitors to see the latest showz and media as well as access to all the options mentioned above.
